Quakes Summer 2017 14B Travel Ball Tryouts
Interested players should complete online registration prior to attending a tryout event. Link to this form is available CLICK HERE or find the same link on our home page. Tryout dates/times are also listed on the home page of this website.
All players are asked to arrive at the tryouts 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to check in with the onsite coordinator. Please note that by completing the online form and attending tryouts, your family agrees that your player is healthy and has no limitations to participate in this activity.
Softball Apparel and Gear:
Players should dress in softball pants and sliding shorts and wear a comfortable shirt or jersey that has the player's last name on the back. Additionally please use tape and pen to show the player's first name on the front. As temperatures will be cool early in the day, please dress in layers to stay warm. Tryouts will be on dirt infields and grass outfields so rubber or metal cleats are appropriate. Please bring a softball glove, helmet, bat and catchers gear (if applicable) to the tryout. All other gear will be provided.
What to Bring:
To stay hydrated, please bring a water and/or a sports drink along with all softball gear (cleats, glove, helmet, bat, etc.). If you do not have gear, please purchase at least a pair of cleats and glove prior to the evaluations event.
Evaluations for all players will include a thorough workout to assess softball fundamentals including fielding, throwing, base running, sliding, hitting, bunting, and communication.
Players will be notified within 5 days after tryout event with details about playing with Quakes.
